Germany(?): Theodore Herzl uniface bronze portrait plaque by Fritz (Fred) Kormis, c. 1910s-1920s; 52.5 x 60.5mm, 104.55g. Kormis was a Jewish sculptor & medalist, born in Germany and active between 1910-1977; emigrated to Holland (1933) and then to Britain (1934). Freidenburg references this plaquette in GJPM-59; probably dates to the art-deco period, from Germany, as unmentioned in Polak's book on Dutch medals - also per Kormis' signature style which changed later to just "Kormis" on pieces he executed in Britain.
