Jerusalem Mandate/military postmarks: 16 JY 36 airmail cover from JERUSALEM to YORK, England franked 13m at Imperial Airways rate to UK using 3 color Pictorals (all vertical ribbed) 8m + 3m + 2m Ba90/91/106 tied by 2 full strikes of extremely rare TALAVERA BKS JERUSALEM skeleton postmark with index C (D1/Sacher J21, index C unlisted; this 2nd earliest recorded date per Sacher), with airmail etiquette on front; slit open at top; stain at left. Fine and rare - rated 'H' out of 'J': a short lived postal agency (July-Oct.) set up at Talavera Barracks in German Quarter during the Arab Revolt, and replaced by field post offices later that year.
