Artistic Eretz-Israel Passover Hagada from 1934-35 (úøö''ä): the 36-page "Illustrated Passover Hagada with New Hebrew Explanation" (äâãä ùì ôñç îöéøú òí áàåø òáøé çãù) printed by "Hatkhiya" (äúçéä) Press (meaning, "rejuvination") in Jerusalem and published by Mendel Friedman and Partners in Jerusalem; with a printed price of 10 Mils. The Hagada features a blue and rose colored thick paperback cover and 8 woodcut illustrated plates. A lovely design with an exterior Hebrew style from the period; overall in good condition with with a loose spine.

Passover 'Hagada' (prayer book) with commentary for Eliyahu's Cup ('Perush Kos Eliahu'), published by Haddad press, Djerba, Tunisia, 1938. Ex-library of the 'Union of Eastern Workers, Department for Development Towns' and stamped as such. Original hard-cover (with a few stains) but otherwise in excellent condition.

Jerusalem 'Shviti' (a Jewish religious amulet hung on a wall to point the direction of prayer towards the Western Wall in Jerusalem), hand made by Chaim Machbub and printed by Lifschitz, circa. 1930's-40's. This is an original lithograph which hung in a Jerusalem house for 50 years, and was used by a Sephardic Jewish family. Points of interest about this Shviti are the presence of 3 Menorot formed from the text of blessings and the name of G-d in the center. The amulet is adorned with images of the sun, grape vines and clusters, flowers blossoming from a pot, and images of the Western Wall and Temple Mount. Has some tears and holes along the edge, some from it being hung up.

Parchment scroll of the Book of Ecclesiastes (Kohelet). Worn and has some spots of water damage. The enclosed pictures focus primarily on the key areas with water(?) damage, though there is a shot of a better looking segment, too (which reflects most of the condition of the scroll on the text side).
Overall, the first segment appears the most affected by stains and holes. The holes are mostly pin-holes, and but there doesn't appear to be any damage to the letters (there are 2 photos of this section). At the very end of the scroll there are a few holes as well, but all within the empty edge of the parchment. A few of the segments have spots of water(?) damage which in some cases has affected the text, though overall the scroll is in much better condition the further in one unrolls it. Most of the serious detriments are in the 1st section.
